Overview

Parkwest is seeking for an enthusiastic, motivated Casino Office Associate.

 

The Casino Office Associate will assist with the administrative aspects of the Casino Administration office. Assists the Casino Administrator and Casino Managers by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform general office duties for the Casino Administrative Manager (i.e., screening calls, preparing paperwork; typing memos; making appointments; etc.) to include all paperwork and projects that may be required or on-going.
  2. Assist in the preparation of clerical documentation to include but not limited to new hire paperwork submission, performance review process for the entire department, timekeeping adjustments, vacation, PSL forms, check and expense requests.
  3. Inputs and files team member’s data into the employee file program.
  4. Maintains office supply inventory; calls for service and arranges for equipment repairs if needed.
  5. Upon instruction; will assist in updating Casino information such as policies procedures; game information, rules, promotions, etc.
  6. Tracks VIP parking passes and will be trained on Players Rewards system to run reports and assist the Players Rewards department.
  7. Prepares time logs for submission to Payroll and payroll distribution.
  8. Works closely with the Casino Administrative Manager and other departments to coordinate events.
  9. Acts as liaison between all departments and managers.
  10. Assists in special projects, as necessary.
  11. Qualified individual must have ability to work in an intense and fast paced environment.
  12. Other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Word, Outlook Microsoft PowerPoint.  Gaming software a plus.
  • Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
  • Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
  • Able to communicate clearly with team members.
  • Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to work within a team environment.

Education:  

 

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent a must.  Associate Degree or College Coursework in office administration or business highly preferred.  

 

Experience: 

  • Three to five years in administrative capacity for a large organization.
  • Qualified individual must have a HIGH sense of confidentiality; possess a great level of initiative and follow through; excellent writing skills and attention to detail, organizational processes; good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Must be able to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
