We are currently looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented approach. Experience with MAS software is required, particularly in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules. Familiarity with F&B Compete Software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  1. Post invoices and reconciliation of vendor statements
  2. Answer and resolve all vendor inquiries and disputes
  3. Prepare weekly accounts payable checks
  4. Print all accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files
  5. Identify, investigate and correct any invoice and coding discrepancies
  6. Assist in monthly closings
  7. Prepare analysis of accounts
  8. Processing of year end 1099s
  9. Assist with other Accounting department tasks and special projects

Qualifications

  • Previous full cycle accounts payable experience in a high volume transaction environment
  • Knowledge of MAS90/200 or similar software preferred
  • 10 key by touch
  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
