Parkwest Bicycle Casino is bringing a fresh face to the casino industry. To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking to hire a security guard.  Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests. A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.

1. Ensures the protection of Parkwest Bicycle Casino property and assets and the safety of customers and team members from his/her changing during the shift.
2. Makes timely notification to the supervisor of any observation or incident, which may be inimical to the interests of Parkwest Bicycle Casino.
3. Participates in completing box pull, ensuring that it is done efficiently and accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Responds to customer and team member requests for service in a professional and courteous manner.
5. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by telephone and over the radio.
6. Has a thorough knowledge of emergency and safety procedures.
7. Must be available to work any shift including weekends and holidays and overtime when necessary.
8. General knowledge of California criminal laws and security procedures.
9. Possess all current permits.
10. Other job related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Prior related experience of at least 1 year.
• Must possess a valid California Guard Card.
• Must have CPR & First Aid/AED.
• Valid California Driver's License and an acceptable driving record as established by the Hotel & Casino's insurance carrier.
• Open availability to work Day, Swing or Graveyard. 
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays. 
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
