Overview

Parkwest is seeking a Player Rewards Representative (Customer Service) that will make that first impression as you walk into the Casino and Hotel. 

 

As a Player Rewards Representative you will greet guests in our player rewards center; answers telephone calls and directs calls throughout the casino. Acts as liaison between guests and Gaming staff, keeps customers informed about promotions and Advertising/Marketing programs. Think you can take your customer service to the next level? Responsibilities

  1. Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  2. This individual interacts directly with the guest; therefore, a professional, friendly demeanor and great communication skills are essential.
  3. Assists with greeting and hosting Special Events and VIP parties.
  4. Answers a high volume of telephone calls with an appropriate, cheerful, and helpful greeting and directs calls to the appropriate extension.
  5. Screens calls may be required to take and relay messages in a prompt and efficient manner.
  6. Gives outside lines as directed by each department's policy.
  7. At times, this individual will be required to locate other personnel for deliveries.
  8. Facilitates incoming and in-house calls for Engineering, Housekeeping and other service supervisors.
  9. Facilitates customer concerns and directs them to the appropriate person or assists them through the proper channels.
  10. Maintains current information regarding promotions at Parkwest Bicycle Casino throughout the casino.
  11. Coordinates and maintains signage and banners throughout the casino.
  12. Maintains logs and tournament results for Parkwest Bicycle Casino and other casinos for customer viewing.
  13. Distributes/disseminates tournament calls and provides detailed and accurate information for players.
  14. Coordinates hotel accommodations and transportation arrangements for VIP customers at the direction of Gaming Management or Executives.
  15. Maintains logs for hotel comps, shipping, and media trafficking.
  16. Performs data entry for Parkwest Bicycle Casino player tracking, rewards system, and marketing promotions as needed while entering data for marketing promotions.
  17. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Three years casino operations related experience and/or marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer Literate a must Microsoft Software; Word, Excel, Power point, etc.
  • Proficiency in English is required, bilingual is a plus in this position and fluency in any East Asian language (such as Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, etc.) is highly desired.
  • Ability to work graveyard shift, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
  • MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
